Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations within 60 days of the scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of all advance rents made on the reservation.

SECURITY DEPOSITS: A $200. security deposit is required for all rentals. Properties are inspected by prior to and following your departure. Our expectation is that you will leave the property in the same condition that you found it. Your security deposit will be refunded in full within 15 days of your check-out date if there are no problems; otherwise you will be notified concerning any additional charges or reductions. It is your responsiblity to report to Bob Jerin (978) 578-0516 or Jim Everett 603-662-9148, if there are any issues with your rental when you arrive.

PAYMENT METHOD: All weekend rentals must be paid in advance along with the security deposit. All rentals of 4 days or more require a down payment of 50% of the rental plus the security deposit. We do not accept credit cards; therefore, initial deposits may be made by personal check. All final balances must be received at least 2 weeks before the rental period begins and in the form of cash, certified bank check or money order.

ARRIVAL:  PLEASE REMEMBER check in is at 3PM and check out at 11AM for week-long rentals. Check in is at 5PM Friday and Check out is 5PM Sunday or Monday for weekend rentals.  EARLY ARRIVALS OR LATE DEPARTURES MAY BE ARRAINGED FOR WEEKEND RENTALS. This house will be opened for you upon your arrival, keys inside and heat and lights turned on as needed.

PETS/SMOKING: No pets or smoking are permitted, please respect this.
 
Size of Party: The maximum number of people staying at the chalet is limited to 8.

LINENS: You need to bring your own linens. Sheets, pillow cases and towels are not provided in our vacation rental. Please refer to the property profile regarding bed sizes. Pillows and blankets are provided. A washer and dryer is available for your use in the chalet. In certain special cases linens can be provided for an extra cost.

TELEPHONE: Local service is provided. All toll calls must be made collect or with a calling card. Cell phone service is spotty at the chalet.

RUBBISH REMOVAL: Rubbish removal takes place on Mondays for weekend rentals and Saturday for weeklong rentals. Please be sure to recycle. Separate glass and newspapers for purposes of recycling.  Do not under any circumstances leave rubbish in the property. Place all rubbish for removal in the outside containers and shut the door tight to keep out animals.

KEYS:  Lost or non-returned keys will be subject to a charge.

CLEANINGS: On the date of your departure please make sure the house is clean and in the same condition as when you arrived. If you do not wish to clean, please notify us if you would like to arrange to pay for a cleaning ($50) upon check out.
